What are coquelicots ?

Coquelicot is the French word for the corn poppy or field poppy. It's my favorite flower, and it just sounds divine to the ears, that's why I chose this username!

"Coquelicot" comes from Old French (oïl) coquerico, which mimics the sound a rooster makes (like "cock-a-doodle-doo" — honestly, it sounds kind of weird in English, not gonna lie).

The color of the field poppy is reminiscent of the red part on a rooster's head, I’m not even sure how it's called.
